Mrs. John Rice and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rice were called to Ladoga on Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral of George Taylor RICE, a brother of the late John Rice. Rev. SG Smith had charge of the services. Walter; Frank; Guy and Fred Rice; Walter Metzler and Warner Edwards acted as pall bearers. Burial in Ladoga Cemetery. He was born in Ladoga, March 13, 1853 and had spent all his life in that vicinity until he went to Indianapolis to make his home with his niece, Mrs. Walter Metzler. He died in the Methodist Hospital on Friday from heart trouble. - kbz
