Mrs. Isaac Rice, of Browns Valley, who has been ill for a long time and has undergone several operations without relief, died on Tuesday morning. She suffered from cancer of the liver. Funeral services were held at Freedom, yesterday morning, Rev. J.M. Cauldwell in charge. She leaves a husband and three daughters: Mrs. Elva Slavens of Parkersburg; Mrs. William Wiatt of Guion and Clara Rice. She was a member of the Baptist Church. - kbz
