Reynolds - Mary Wright

Mrs. Mary Wright Reynolds, age 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leo Thompson, three miles west or Crawfordsville at 6 o’clock Saturday evening following an illness of two weeks due to influenza. Mrs. Wright was born in Lyon, Ia., Nov. 30, 1859, the daughter of James Crawford and Caroline Hill Wright. She was married in 1879 to Lewis W. Reynolds, who survives her. She spent the majority of her life in and around Brown’s Valley, becoming a member of the Brown's Valley Christian church. Those surviving in addition to the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Conner, and Mrs. Pearl Thompson, both living near Crawfordsville; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one sister Mrs. Rose Kesselring, of Alexandria. One daughter, Mabel Reynolds French, preceded her in death. Services will be held at 10:30 0’clock Tuesday morning at the Brown’s Valley Christian church. Internment will be at the Old Union cemetery near Waveland. kbz
