John William REYNOLDS 85 of Browns Valley died at his home there Sat. morning at 7 after an illness of 3 weeks of angina pectoris. He was born four miles north of Waveland Aug 13, 1859 the son of Napoleon and Malinda CRISLER Reynolds, pioneers in this community. Mr. Reynolds was married at Danville, Ill in 1895 5o Dorinda SPRAGUE who survives him, with two sons, George Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio and Sgt. Jesse Reynolds of the armed forces; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Armstrong of New Market and Mrs. Bertha Friend of Anderson. Two daughters, and one son preceded him in death. Burial was Tuesday afternoon at Browns Valley Baptist Church and Freedom Cemetery. kbz
