Wingate - Nancy M. Renick died of a heart condition Thursday at 4 in her home in Wingate. She had spent two months in Culver Hospital. Born June 28, 1879, in Glasgow, KY she was the daughter of Jordan and Judith Keith Cox Pace. She married Joe Renick Dec 14, 1896 in Tennessee. He preceded her in death in 1952. Mrs. Renick moved to Indiana 61 years ago and to the Wingate community 50 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Wingate. Survivors include three sons, Haskel of near Darlington, Herman of Lafayette and Walter of Flora; two daughters, Verna Patton and Flossie Brunner of Crawfordsville; a sister, Cora Mansfield of Detroit; 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy; a grandson, Billy Brunner killed in WWII; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. EST in the Servies Mortuary, Waynetown. Rev. Delbert Smith of the Wingate Methodist Church will officiate. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Wingate.
