Reeves, William, of Crawfordsville, former resident of Ladoga died Tuesday morning in a few hours after he was burned in an explosion of large asphalt tank in Crawfordsville. He was 56. Born 17 November 1887 in Milford, Illinois. Survivors are the widow; a step son, Walter Berry of Ladoga, two brothers Charles and Forrest Reeves both of Milford, Illinois. Another brother Jess of Gothen, Nebraska and a sister Mrs. Nora Jenkins also of Gothen. Funeral services were held at the Gottschall Funeral Home in Ladoga, with burial in the Ladoga Cemetery. – thanks to MW for this one
