Pearl B. Reed, 81, Rt. 1, Crawfordsville, a retired farmer and native of Montgomery County, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. He had been a patient at the hospital since Wednesday. He was a member of the Christian Church. He was born Sept 12, 1890, a son of Chalmers and Sarah Belle Jones Reed. He was married to Grace Mae Blacketer and she died 1921. He was then marr. to Lola Marie Kent who d July 1966. Survivors include a son, Charles W, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Howard of Danville, Ind and nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Roachdale with burial in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
