Julia Alice Reed, died at her home in Illinois on the 5th inst, after a painful and protracted illness. Her remains were brought to the residence of her mother, Mrs. Thomas J. Brasfield, two miles southeast of the city on the 7th inst and in the presence of a large and sympathizing congregation, appropriate religious services were held. She was buried beside her father in Oak Hill cemetery. Her husband is left to mourn the loss of his young and interesting companion to whom he was married but two years ago. = kz
