Reed - JS - revolving photo album - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Last week the Journal contained a notice of a beautiful and ingenious revolving photograph album, the invention of J. S. Reed, of this city. Mr. Reed died suddenly last Thursday morning, before he had been permitted to reap the fruits of his invention. Happily, however, his widow is enabled to avail herself of this invention as a means of support. She will commence canvassing the city for orders in a few days, and our citizens will have an opportunity to supply themselves with an article which will commend itself to all and at the same time assist a needy subject.
