Reed - Grace Blacketer

Mrs. Grace Reed (nee Blacketer) died at her home east of here on Friday evening Aug 19 at 8 o'clock, aged 28 years. She had been seriously ill of typhoid fever for the past four weeks. She was a loyal Christian woman and a member of the Christian Church at Parkersburg. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband, Perl Reed, and two little children, Marjorie Jane, aged 3 and Charles Wesley aged 3 1/2 months, her father, Wesley Blacketer and one sister, Mrs. Joe Hartley and many friends who deeply deplore her death. The funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian Church at Parkersburg by Rev. Overstreet. Interment at Ladoga Cemetery. - kbz
