Charles W. Reed, 56, of 447 S. Tennessee St., Danville, Ind., was found dead Tuesday at the Bill Foster residence on Rt. 1, Crawfordsville, where he was employed. Coroner Russell Powers said death was due to natural causes. Mr. Reed was a farmer and was educated in Parkersburg and Ladoga schools. Born Jan. 21, 1921, at Parkersburg, he was a son of Pearl and Grace Blackter Reed. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. William (Margaret) Howard of Danville, and four cousins. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. Merel Frost officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
