Reed - Adora Wing

NORTH SALEM – Adora W. Reed, 86, of Roachdale, died in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville at 2 p.m. Tuesday. She was born Dec. 19, 1882 in Boone County, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Carolina McDaniel Wing. She married Charles C. Reed in December, 1900. He preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of the North Salem Methodist Church, and attended schools in Missouri. She is survived by a son, James, and a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Hennon, both of Roachdale; a brother, Carl Wing, of Pittsboro, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at North Salem Methodist Church Thursday at 2 p.m., with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Louis Krouch will officiate.
