Her age being 53 years, 6 months and 12 days at the time of her death. She was married to James Reddy at New Market, Ind. in 1882. There were born to this union four children, three boys and one girl who died in infancy. Her sons, William of Indianapolis, Paul and Harry of Darlington survive her. She is also survived by her aged father, W. C. Hubbard, her sister, Mrs. Charlotte Henderson, and a half sister, Mrs. Minnie Newton, of Indianapolis, and two half brothers, James and Floyd Hubbard of Peru, Ind. Mrs. Reddy united with the Disciples church in Washington county when she was a girl and has remained a member of this church since that time. She was a loyal and devoted mother to her children, and she had the care of them from the time of their birth she freely sacrificed herself for the good of those whom she loved better than her own life. Often times she worked far beyond her strength, by she was upheld by her love for her home and her children. For years she had not been strong and at times she suffered greatly, how much no one can ever know, but for her the disappointments, the harbors, trials, sorrows and sufferings of life have ended and she rests in peace. She leaves her three sons, her aged father, her sister, and half sister and her many relatives to mourn her loss. - thanks to Kim H
