Reddenbaugh - William

Wm. Reddenbaugh was a timber man and spent most of his years working in the woods. He died about a year ago and was buried in the Harshbarger cemetery north of Ladoga. No monument or stone was erected at his grave, but instead the iron handles of a cross-cut saw are place at the head and foot of the gave and these support a saw blade with the teeth up. The inscription, giving name, date of birth, death etc is on the broadest portion of the blade. It is a peculiar grave mark. – Ladoga Leader
