CLINTON, Ind. -- Mrs. Mary Amour Records, 77, of Terre Haute, Ind., a former resident of Clinton, died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 1978) at Meadow Manors North in Terre Haute. She graduated from Indiana State Normal and began her teaching career in Waveland, Ind. She taught most of her career at Gerstmeyer High in Terre Haute where she retired as dean of women. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and Cappa Delta Sororities, Trinity United Methodist Church and Twelve Points Chapter 528 of the Order of Eastern Star. She was the daughter of Richard and Louise Weber Amour and the granddaughter of Ernest Weber, the last tollkeeper of the wooden covered bridge over the Wabash River in Clinton, Ind. She married Russell Records of New Harmony, Ind., and he preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Thomas of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Terre Haute. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Clinton. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home with Eastern Star Memorial services there at 7:30 p.m. today.--waw
