The body of David Reasor, of Mecca, was brought here for burial at Maple Ridge yesterday morning. Mr. Reasor, who was a brother-in-law of Will Harshbarger, was 71 years old. He is survived by the widow, two sons and a daughter. A son was buried here eight years ago. Crawfordsville Journal, Montgomery County, Indiana, Waveland Independent May 23, 1930 David Reeser, aged about 70, died at his home in Mecca, Tuesday, about 11:20 a.m. after a severe illness of 15 days. He had been in failing health for more than 3 years. Surviving are: the widow, Mrs. Belle Reeser, 2 sons, Frank Reeser, of Chicago, and Harley Reeser, of Clinton; 1 daughter, Mrs. Violet Moffler, of Chicago. One son has preceded him in death. Mr. Reeser had lived in Mecca for at least 25 years. He was a member of the Modern Woodman lodge and the Methodist Church. Rev. A.L. Vermillion, of Montezuma, officiated at the funeral held at the home on Thursday morning at 10:30. Burial in the Waveland Cemetery. kbz
