Rayborn - Frances Bailey

Mrs. Frances Rayborn, 55, who lived a mile and a half east of here, died Saturday morning at 8:15 o'clock at Culver hospital, Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient since Wednesday. She underwent a minor operation.
Born February 26, 1881, at Saybrook, Ill., she was the daughter of James Albert and Salina (Crum) Bailey, and was married to Ben C. Rayborn March 27, 1907. She was a school teacher for several years prior to her marriage and was active in the local Methodist church. Mrs. Rayborn was a sister of Bert Bailey, who was killed in the Purdue football wreck at Indianapolis. She was a graduate of the State Normal school at Terre Haute and attended Purdue and Indiana universities.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Margaret Jenkins and Mrs. Ruth Jaral, both of Chicago; two sons: Bert, of Crawfordsville; and Hal, of New Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, of Annville, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church here Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Earl Moore, of Crawfordsville, officiating, assisted by the Rev. A.B. Coates, of New Richmond. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, northwest of here. – thanks muches to my buddy Kim H – she’s done so much for this site
