Raworth - Robert

Robert P. Raworth, an Englishman by birth was accidentally killed Feb 8th, 1857, about 2 o’clock p.m. on the Rail Road bridge across Raccoon creek ¼ of a mile south of Ladoga, Ind on the line of the NA&SRR by a train of cars on said road. The said Raworth, was about 5’6 or 7” high, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes and about 35 years of age; he was travelling through the county peddling books; and had been in this country about 5 years.
