Raymond E. Ratcliff, 75 of 802 E. Wabash Avenue, a retired Montgomery County Highway Dept employee died at 7:10 p.. Friday in Culver Hospital. Ratcliff had farmed in the Hillsboro and Waynetown area prior to joining the highway dept. He was born Sept 25, 1900 in Taylor County Kentucky a son of Albert and Julia Allen Ratcliff. He was married to Effie Hunt in 1925. Surviving are a son, Bobby of Fredericksburg, TX; a brother, James of Waynetown, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Livengood of Waynetown; a two grandch. He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, 3 brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Stephen Malone officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. - kbz
