Stella May Rasor was born in the same house in which she died, December 24, 1879. After an illness of six months’ duration, she departed this life February 18, 1902. During all her suffering she showed the greatest Christian fortitude. There was heard no complaint from her lips. While loving hands were doing all that could be done to relieve her suffering, she seemed to know that there was no hope of final recovery. While we feel sad to lose her in this life, yet we know that it is a gain to her and we would not call her back if we could. She is beyond the suffering of this vale of tears. The funeral was conducted by Elder Simmons at the Center Christian Church, Thursday, Feb. 20, 1902. Interment was at Liberty. Her relatives have the heartfelt sympathies of the entire community. She leaves a father, mother, two sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss. -s
