Raquet - Aubrey Maurice

Aubrey Maurice, the little son of Mr. & Mrs. HV Raquet, died at their home E. of town on Fri. Funeral services at the home on Suna fternoon were in charge of Rev. Olin Stewart and were largely attended Interment at Hebron Cem so. of RUssellville. The following obit was read; "In a little cottage in Waveland on Nov 1, 1918 came Aubrey Maurice, as a ray of sunshine to brighten the hearts of the home of Mr. & Mrs. HV Raquet and son, Lodell. Aubrey was taken to Culver Hospital Wed. April 26, where he was operated on for removal of adenoids and tonsils. He departed form this life April 29 at the age of 2 Y5M28D of either pneumonia. While he has been a great care on account of much sickness in so short a life, he has been the source of great joy and pleasure to his family and other relatives and friends. While only 2 1/2 years he has been permitted to live with us,we shall see him no more, still the sweet inspiration to brighter faith, sweeter hopes and more tender love. (poem) Among those in attendance from a distance were Misses Bertha and Cora Hyten of Roachdale; Mrs. Anna Goodbar and Mr. & Mrs. Depew Hyten of Ladoga; Mrs. John Raquet and son, Kenneth of Arcadia; Bern Raquet of Indianapolis; Mr. & Mrs. Paul Crodian and Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Hall of Bainbridge. kbz
