Rankin - Sarah

Mrs. Sarah Rankin died of apoplexy Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eliza Williams, 612 West Market Street, where the funeral was held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Runyan and the interment was at Oak Hill. Mrs. Rankin is a descendant of the Lee and Southard families and was the mother of Captain George W. Lamb. She was born in Butler County, Ohio, Sept. 30, 1813. -s
