Miss Bertha May RANDEL, daughter of William and Gertrude Randel was born NOv 15, 1897 and died Feb 27, 1916 at the home of her parents 3 and one half miles north of Ladoga, at 5 this morning with tuberculosis. SHe had been affected with this disease for over one year. She entered the Ladoga HS but was only able to attend one year on account of her health. Her mother died almost 14 years ago. Bertha, beloved to the Christian Church joined under the pasterage of Rev. Newlin. The funeral will be held at Christian Church Monday afternoon at 2. It will be conducted by Rev. Jesse H. Jones. Interment will be at Harshbarger cemetery two miles north of here. She leaves a father, stepmother and sister, one brother, two half sisters and one half brother to mourn her. - kbz
