Covington, Nov 4 - Friends and relatives in this city were greatly shocked Saturday evening when word was received announcing the death of Mrs. Dot May Anderson Ramsey, aged 18 years at her home near Perrysville. Her death was due to pneumonia and was sick only a short time, being stricken during the early hours Saturday morning. Before her marriage to Charles E. Ramsey she made her home in Covington. Her husband is in the army and is in the service overseas. They were married less than a year ago. She had been employed as a nurse in the family by the name of Black who were sick with the influenza and was apparently in the best of health when she retired Friday night but before morning she was seriously ill. She called a doctor but was unconscious when medical help arrived and her death followed in a few hours. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and interment made in Hicks Cemetery west of Covington. --- transcribed by kbz
