Charles Henry Ramsay was born July 17, 1857 in Quincy, Iowa. He was the son of Walker and Anna Chambers Ramsay. He died November 15, 1941 aged 84 years 3 months and 29 days.. His father died when he was a small boy leaveing the mother, a sister and brother. He married October 25, 1882 to Susan Belle Harbison. She died 11 years ago. Survivors are a daughter Mrs. Pearl Nicholson, sons, Walker F., Harry and Ralph Ramsay, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Ella Hasting of Olathe, Kansas. He was precceded in death by a brother Alvin Ramsay. Burial was in the Secedar Cemetery. - kbz

Charles Henry RAMSEY 90 who died at the home of his son, Harry south of town on Saturday night was the son of Walker and Anna Ramsey, and was born in Quincy, Iowa. He married Stella Belle HARBISON, now deceased. Besides the son at whose home he died there are two other sons, Walker and Ralph, and a daughter, Mrs. Pearl NICHOLSON. Funeral services at the Russellville Federated Church on Monday, were followed by burial in Seceder cemetery near Portland Mills. - kbz
