Maria Rakestraw, another of Sugar Creek township's pioneers, died at the home of her son, Mort, 2 miles west of Colfax, Sunday night, aged 84 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home, conducted by Rev. Chamberlain. Burial at Union cemetery.
