Joy Raisor - April 7, 1935 - Nov 1, 1998
Ada, Okla - Joy Raisor, 63, of Ada, Okla and formerly of Waynetown died Sunday in Ada. Mrs. Raisor was a certified nurse aid for Ben Hur/Houston Co. She was born April 7, 1935 in Jasper County, Indiana to Thomas Sharkey and Glenna Augusta Current Kendall. She married Ernest Raisor May 5, 1967 at Anderson, Ind. He died March 6, 1989. Survivors include four daughters: Vickie Hart of Ada; Patricia Cashman of Greeneville, Teen; Vina Kessler of Yuma, Ariz; and Connie Nagandhi of Mississippi; a son, Steven Lewis of lawton, Okla; four sisters, Esther Zea, Mary Lilley, Evelyn Hazelgrove and Beverly Zollman all of Renssalaer, Ind; a brother, Richard Kendall of Morocco, Ind; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. There will be no calling. Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown is handling arrangements.
