Waynetown - Mrs. Katie Raisor, 74 years of age, died at her home in Waynetown shortly after 7 o'clock Tuesday morning after an 8-month illness. Carcinoma was the cause of death. Mrs. Raisor was born April 22, 1877, at East Peoria, Ill, the daughter of Isaac Ferguson and Martha Grenard Ferguson. She was married Oct 9, 1904 to Walter Raisor of Wingate. Mrs. Raisor spent her girlhood in Wingate. She and Mr. Raisor also resided there for many years following their marriage. They have resided in Waynetown for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Raisor was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. Survivors include the husband, one son, Ernest Raisor of Dallas, Tex; one sister, Mrs. Roy Blacker of Wingate, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with burial in the Waynetown Masonic cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until the services where friends may call. - kz
