Waynetown - Ernest Raisor, 78 of havelock, NC formerly of Waynetown, died Monday evening in Veterans Hospital, Durham, NC.

Mr. Raisor was a retired bricklayer and member of Bricklayers union 11 at Lafayette. He was also a member of Waynetown Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of WWII and had attended Waynetown High School.

He was born April 1, 1910 at Waynetown, to Walter and Kathryn Ferguson Raisor. He married Romayne "Joy" Kendall. She survives.

Also surviving are a stepson, Stephen Lewis of Germany; six daughters, Mrs. Carmalieta Boatright of Arizona; Mrs. Vickiie Hart of Havelock, NC; Mrs. Patricia Casham of Germany; Mrs. Vina Kessler of Yuma, Ariz; Mrs. Connie Nagandi of Illinois and Sandra Raisor of Attica; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. James Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. - kbz

Waynetown—Ernest Raisor, 78, Havelock, N. C., formerly of Waynetown, died Monday evening, March 6, 1989 in Veterans Hospital, Durham, N. C.
  He was born April 1, 1910 at Waynetown, the son of Walter and Kathryn Ferguson Raisor. He was married to Romayne “Joy” Kendall, who survives.
