Roachdale - Hans J. Rahn, 80, a retired farmer who had lived on Rt 1, New Ross died Sunday in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. He was born at Garrett, Ill Oct 27, 1892, a son of John F. and Maria Rahn. Both his parents were originally from Germany. Surviving are his widow, Irene Rahn; two sons, Earl of Gibson City, Ill and Clarence of Kingman; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Schroder of Monticello, Mrs. Maynard Eggers of North Salem and LaDell Rahn of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and a great grandson. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Services will be conducted 2 p. m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
