Sarah Jane Randall was born in Scott Township, near Ladoga, June 13, 1830 age 81 years 4 months and 12 days. She departed this life, Oct 26, 1911. She was married to John RAGSDALE Dec 26, 1854. To this union were born 11 children, 8 of whom preceded her. Two sons and one daughter, Mrs. J.W. Shanks, 5 grandchildren and two brothers are left to mourn her loss. The husband and father died August 7, 1880. Aunt Sallie united with the ME Church in Russellville in the year 1881, under the pastorate of Rev. DK Tyndall. She was a kind good neighbor and a most affectionate mother, who will be sadly missed. Funeral services at the home were conducted by the Rev. William Brumfield. Burial at Union cemetery. kbz
