Crawfordsville, April 20 – Carroll Ragan, composer of the music for the Wabash College song, “Old Wabash,” died Easter Sunday at his home in Yonkers, NY according to a letter received today by Harley T. Ristine, Crawfordsville attorney. The letter came from the composer’s widow. Ragan, a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, composed a song for the centennial of the fraternity observed at Miami University in 1939. - kz
