Rabeck - Lydia Margaret Akers

Lydia Margret Rabeck died Friday morning in an Olympia hospital at the age of 92.  Mrs. Rabeck was born in Indiana on March 19, 1864 and at the age of six, traveled by ox team with her parents, Nathaniel and Mahala Akers to live on a homestead in Kansas. She came to Olympia 39 years ago. Her husband, George Rabeck died here in 1938. Mrs. Rabeck was a life-long member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Clarence Rabeck, Olyympia; a daughter, Mrs. Henry E (Genevieve) Gaines, Olympia; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held in Mills and Mills' Chapel Monday morning starting at 11 o'clock. The Reverend Henry S. Rahn, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in the family plot in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
