Mr. Pleasant Ramsey,
father of AF Ramsey while about home, before going to business on
Wednesday morning, in passing over the ice in the door yard, slipped and
in falling upon his head and shoulders sustained such injuries –
rupture of blood vessels of the head – that he departed this life, this
Thursday morning at about 5 o’clock. The deceased was one of our most
exemplary Christian citizens and his sudden demise will be deeply felt
by all who knew him. Age 61 years. Funeral will take place on Saturday
morning, Jan 27 at 10 o’clock from the Baptist (NS) Church; Eld C.J.
