QUINLAN, John B. - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

John B. Quinlan, 83, a former employee of the MidStates Steel & Wire Co and Crawfordsville Casket Co died Thursday night at General Hospital at Indianapolis. He had been in failing health two years. Born March 17, 1874, in Crawfordsville, Mr. Quinlan married Julia Young Aug 25, 1898. He had lived in Indianapolis since the death of his wife 5 years ago. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Garland Froman of Clermont and Mrs. Herbert Rogers of PUnta Gorda, Fl; a stepson, Darrell Shrader of Urbana, Ill; two stepdaughters, Kittie Lou Shrader of Santa Anna, Calif and Mrs. Harry Freyn of Indianapolis; several grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church of which Mr. Quinlan was a member. Burial will be at Russellville Cemetery. Rosary Society services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
