QUILLEN, Thomas A. - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Waynetown, Aug 12 - Thomas A. Quillen, 70, life-long resident of Montgomery County, died at noon today at an Evansville hospital. He had been ill for the past 5 years. The deceased was born Dec 31, 1864, in Montgomery County, the son of James T. and Ellen Jones Quillen. He was married in 1885 to Minerva MIller. Mr. Quillen was formerly an active member of the Waynetown K of P. Surviving in addition to the wife, are 4 sons, Clare of near Waynetown; James and Walter both of Waynetown and Harry of Sheridan; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Hankins of Greencastle; a sister, Mrs. Weford Youngblood of Wilmar, Calif and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may view the body at the home of Walter Quillen until noon Wednesday. Private funeral services will be conducted at the son's home at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Rev. WW Roberts will be in charge.
