WAYNETOWN — Ira Quiggle, a lifelong farmer of the Wingate-New Richmond area, died Monday night at the Small Nursing Home here. He was 91 years old. A son of Henry and Susan Whitmore Quiggle, he was born near Attica Feb. 20, 1874. He was wed March 15, 1900, to Florence Clouser, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son and a daughter. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ferris Bowman of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Weltner of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, Frank Quiggle of Stewardson, Ill., and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. ---typed by Walt W

Funeral services for Ira Quiggle were held Thursday morning in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Kenneth Buser officiating. Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Jesse Gobel, Ed Gobel, Robert Bowman, C. L. Long and Victor Ardelean. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. O. C.
