Crawfordsville – Francis Karl Quigg,
77 of rural Crawfordsville died at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday Oct 25, 2000 in
Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. He was born July 18, 1923 in Montgomery
County and was a 1941 New Richmond HS graduate. He was a retired farmer and
fertilizer dealer. He also was a co-founder of Clinton and Quigg Fertilizer Inc
near Linden. On Aug 13, 1944, he married Ruth Todd in Waynetown and she
survives. Mr. Quigg was an Army veteran of WWII, serving from 1943-45 in Europe. He attained
the rank of Staff Sgt in the 317th Field Artillery Headquarters
Battery of the 44th Division.
He was a member of Darlington American Legion. - kbz
