VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Vera Pyle, 71, organist for the New Liberty Christian Church, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lake View Hospital at Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient for one day. A piano teacher at Wallace for many years, she attended schools in Parke County and Wallace. Born Dec. 13, 1900, she was a daughter of William H. and Edna Delp Sanders. She was married April 1, 1922, to Virgil O. Pyle at Crawfordsville. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Dale E. of Rt. 1, Veedersburg, a daughter, Mrs. Ura (Sandra) Miller of West Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Susie Starnes of Kingman, and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with her nephew, Rev. William Grimes of Brazil, officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
