Waynetown, July 16 - Elmer H. Proctor, well known resident of the Wesley and Yountsville communities for many years, died at his home Wednesday night following a year's illness from complications of diseases. Mr. Proctor was born September 30, 1878, the son of David and Frances Lawrence Proctor. He was united in marriage with Nannie E. Lewis, April 14, 1900. Mr. Proctor was a member of the Christian church and the Alamo Red Men and with the exception of two years spent in Porter county, lived most of his life here. He was born at Rockcastle, Ky. The wife and four sons survive, Curtis D. Proctor of Crawfordsville and James E. Floyd E. and Lester L. Proctor, all at home. Two brothers, T.A. and A.E. Proctor of MT. Vernon, Ky., two sisters, Mrs. Robert Brown and Mrs. Arthur Scott of Level Green Ky., and two grandchildren survive. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Wesley Methodist church at four o'clock with the Rev. John Servies in charge. Friends may pay their respects at the home up until 3:30.
