Leslie William Pritchard, 59, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Findley, 1305 West Main Street. The son of John and Ida Lewis Pritchard, he was born in Putnam County near Belle Union Oct 24, 1890. He married Ruth Shannon at Crawfordsville in February 1916. Mr. Pritchard was educated in the Putnam County schools and Indiana State Teacher's College at Terre Haute. He taught in Putnam County and moved to Crawfordsville shortly after his marriage. He was a member of the Alamo Masonic Lodge. He was employed by the Johnson Manufacturing Company before going to DOnnelley's where he worked 25 years. He retired a year ago. Surviving are 3 children: Mrs. Fendley and Miss Jean Pritchard of Crawfordsville and Noel Pritchard of Waynetown; his mother, who lives near Greencastle; four sisters, Mrs. Stella Terry of near Greencastle; Mrs. Maudie Horn of Belle Union and Mrs. Estie Young of Indianapolis and Mrs. Roxie Bryant of Greencastle; 5 brothers, Howard of Crawfordsville; Claude of St. Joseph, MO; Rockford of Indianapolis; Willis of Monrovia and Burnace of Limedale; 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Mrs. Ethel White of Greencastle. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bright Funeral Home here, with Rev. John R. Servies in charge. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - typed by kbz
