“Ladoga news item” – The body of Mr. Pricket was brought home Saturday morning for burial. He fell from a car on the C&SE railroad and several cars ran over him. He lived but a short time.

Ira Pricket was killed last Friday at Carbon by falling under a train. It was his first trip out on the road, he leaving here in the morning and being killed at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. His body was brought home Saturday morning and buried at the Harshbarger Cemetery in the afternoon. - thanks to "S" for the addition
