Onoraias POWELL, a farmer living 3 miles south of this place (Waynetown) was killed Tuesday evening. He had unhitched his team from the plow and got on one of his horses to go to supper when a dog ran by and frightened the horse, which threw him off and his legs became entangled in the harness and he was dragged to the house. When his wife reached him life was extinct. He was well respected and leaves a wife and two children. -- typed by
