Kingman -- Funeral services for Harry E. Powell, 85, a life resident of Kingman will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Woodrow Funeral Home here with Rev. Luther Page officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Mr. Powell, who was retired from Powell, Inc gravel company died Friday night at Lake View Memorial Hospital, Danville, Ill. He had been hospitalized one day. The deceased had resided at the Danville Care Nursing Home since the early part of December. Born in Fountain County Sept 14, 1884, Mr. Powell was the son of Joseph and Mary Marshall Powell. He was married Jan 20, 1914 to Veda Bonebrake, who survives. Mr. Powell was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church. Kingman F&AM Lodge NO. 314 for over 50years; Scottish Rite at Indianapolis; Low 12 Club at Wallace and Kingman OES NO. 204. Survivors in addition to the widow and one son, James E of Veedersburg; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Masonic memorial services were conducted Sunday at the funeral home. - kbz
