Mrs. Walter Pollitt, who has been ill for a long time, died early on Saturday morning. Funeral services at the Christian Church on Monday afternoon were in charge of Rev. Robert Lewis. Mrs. Charles F. Moore and Mrs. Fred Rice sang with Mr. Walker at the piano. The casket was borne by Delbert and Fred Pollitt; Robert Pollard; Bert Hallett; and Elmer and Robert Wilkinson. The flowers were carried by Dorothy Miles; Velma and Mildred Corder; Mabel Wilshire; Betty Hill; Margaret loudermill; Frona Smith; and Mrs. Bert Hill. Burial in Indian Creek cemetery. Mrs. Nancy Pollitt, well known Waveland resident, passed away at her home here Saturday morning at 3:30 o'clock, following an extended illness. She had been in failing health for the past 3 years and death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Pollitt was born near Maysville, Kentucky. April 28, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pollard. She was united in marriage with Walter Pollitt August 23, 1905. She was a member of the Maysville Baptist Church. Surviving are the husband, two sons, Delbert and Fred Politt, and 3 daughters: Mrs. Frances Hallett of New Market; Barbara and Wandalene at home; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Wilkinson of Crawfordsville; a brother, Robert Pollard of Urbana, Illinois and the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pollard of Urbana. Also, 3 grandchildren, Joan and Don Hallett and Joyce Pollitt, and a host of relatives and friends. kbz
