William R. Points, a prominent farmer died yesterday at 1 o’clock at his home one mile north of New Market. He had been ill for about two weeks with kidney trouble. He leaves a wife and two grown sons, William and James. The funeral will occur Saturday morning. - kbz

William Poynts, an aged and respected citizen of this neighborhood, died at his home last Thursday after a painful illness of two weeks. The funeral services were conducted at the house by Rev. Tucker. Interment was a Odd Fellows Cemetery. -s
