ROACHDALE – Estil Pittman, 40, of Roachdale died Thursday afternoon at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Pittman was a veteran of WW II. He was born on May 1, 1926, in Kentucky, the son of George and Flora Ann Waddle Pittman. Surviving are three children at home; a daughter, Retta Ann and two sons, Keith and Tim; two brothers, Mike of Eubank, Ky., and Sgt. Oscar Pittman of the Air Force and three sisters, Mrs. Jay Boggess of Roachdale, Mrs. Bessie Haggard of Kings Mountain, Ky., and Mrs. Joe Griffin of Waynesburg, Ky. Services will be held at the Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Homer Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday. --– jlr
