Jonas Pickle of Ladoga died this morning at an early hour. Victim of Bright's Disease Succumbs After an illness of Three Months' Duration Special to the Journal. Ladoga, March 24, 1914- This morning at three, Jonas Pickle, who would have reached his seventieth birthday had he lived until May, a veteran of the civil war, died at his home in Riverside suburb here. Mr. Pickel was a retired farmer, having moved to Ladoga about seven years ago from Fincastle, Putnam County. His death was due to Bright's disease with which he has been afflicted for the past three months. The deceased is survived by a widow, but no children. Four children were born to them but all of them died in infancy. Mr. Pickle is survived by three brothers, Oliver of this place; Joseph of Crawfordsville, and Gabriel of Minnesota, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Todd of Bainbridge, and Mrs. Mary Stultz of Fincastle. The funeral will likely be held on Wednesday afternoon. -- typed by kbz
