Lydia, wife of Asa Pickerill of Garfield died at her home Tuesday after an extended illness. She was 64 years and was a woman highly respected in the community. She leaves a husband and two grown children, Mrs. Al Smith and Elmer to mourn her loss. The funeral took place on Thursday at 1 o'clock from the South Christian Church at Darlington of which she had long been a member. Rev. AL West officiated and the interment took place at the IOOF Cemetery. -- typed by kbz
