George Phillips, an old and respected citizen, died last Friday morning at the family home in New Richmond. His death was occasioned by paralysis, from which he had long been a sufferer.
Mr. Phillips was a veteran of the Civil War and was 58 years of age. He leaves a wife, three sons, and one daughter.
The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the services being under the auspices of the G. A. R. and the Rev. Plunkett officiating. Burial was at the New Richmond Cemetery. -s
